In this age of HD, why not completely convert and eliminate film altogether? One word: FLEXIBILITY. Moving film, or motion pictures, have a warmth and life that digital does not reliably capture. In addition, low light situations - such as a wedding reception - present a challenge that film can handle, whereas HD has catching up to do. Finally, there is what we call the 'black click of death,' hard drives can crash, film does not crash, even if a camera breaks, the film is easily recovered. No videographer wants to tell the bride and groom that the camera crashed and lost all the wedding footage, that would not be a pleasant conversation. However, HD provides a clarity of picture quality that we all demand now in our movies, sports, tv shows, etc.
This is why Fantastic Videography, from here on out, will integrate film and HD cameras to provide customers the highest possible quality for all kinds of events! |
| We deal with it on every level, in every job or endeavor. Today a rough draft of my work was criticized from opening frame to the end. Since I love my work so much, it was difficult to take, even with realizing that they can't see the finished product I see. Regardless, the reaction I got is motivation to make the next version the customer sees an absolute work of art! |
